Many Local Councils in Australia have taken up the challenge of developing responses to homelessness, often focusing on what has been categorised as primary homelessness, people living on the streets.

As the priorities and programs delivered by local governments change the Clearinghouse team recommends each state or local government area contact the Clearinghouse team with the content they would like in this area of the site, or better yet, if you work for a local government authority that has information and resources that will benefit this community of users you can log in to the site and add your material.

This area of the Clearinghouse highlights these local government responses.
